I don't really know how to start this, but it's been a pretty rough week. I got diagnosed with thyroid cancer officially on Monday. It's going to be okay- it's really only stage 1, but it's been a pretty emotionally exhausting week, and I'm booked for surgery on the 10th. It's all kinda happening really fast, which is good because hopefully, it will be over really quickly too, but I'm supposed to have this really terrible scar across my neck, and that's kind of stressful. I've had to tell a lot of people, which is good to have a support system. My family and I talk, but we have a bit of a rough relationship, and I have been a mitigator a lot of my life, and at this point, I don't have the capacity or really the want to mitigate their emotions about the situation. My job has been really amazing about giving me the time off, but I still need to go to school and make enough money for that time. I'm doing my best, but I also have a lot of physical therapy to go to for unrelated reasons and, all in all, my health and my stress levels are not doing so hot.

Please pray for my great-grandson. He was born prematurely but seemed to be doing well, but last night was transferred to another hospital because his blood was not getting enough oxygen. His name is Tobias. His parents are beside themselves.

My cousin's young teenage son has been battling uveitis since last August. Recently it has moved to both eyes and last week 5 lesions were found on his retina. All the months of testing have turned up no obvious cause for these troubles. Please pray that the doctor's will be able to figure out what's going on and for full healing. His name is Garrett.
