I got this text from my dad today, regarding the wound that resulted in his ankle replacement surgery a couple months ago. The incision wound is not improving.
“I'm at sweedish in Ballard just laying around with IV's in me. Not sure how long at this point, but it sounds like at least today and tomorrow.
Infectious disease team still need to weigh in on the lab results for the blood draw in the joint and the petri dish growth. They will be the ones to determine if it needs to be opened back up and scrubbed out. Or, if I just stay on the antibiotic drip routine for a bit.”

Please pray for Jane Muresan. She is in the hospital and her kids are praying for a miracle. Tomorrow they will be taking the tubes out to see if she can survive on her own. Her daughter, Jennifer wants her mom to also know it’s okay to leave them if it’s time. She doesn’t want her to suffer.

I somehow re-incited a jaw injury I incurred a couple years ago, so I’m currently suffering severe jaw pain especially by my ears, migraines, difficulty chewing food and also reduced hearing. It’s very uncomfortable and painful, but no clear resolution from doctors or dentists since it’s not TMJ or anything like that. Please pray for healing and relief, restored hearing.

Please pray for Espranza. She is a young girl who is going in tomorrow at 7 AM central time to have a tumor removed from her brain. When she was 3 she had to do this as well. They were unable to remove all of it because it was attached to her systems that effect walking and talking. It has now grown back and needs to be removed again. Please pray that it would detach and all be able to be removed. The surgery is expected to take 6-12 hours. Her parents names are Bruce & Kara.

I'm traveling Thurs (8/14) night to my best friends' wedding Sat. and flying back Sunday for the church remodel work next week. This is my first time flying in a long time, the last time was in the early 90s for Navy purposes. Please pray that I can make all my connections on time, that everything goes smoothly and I am able to both enjoy & participate in this joyous occasion, and also able to make it back ready to start working on the church Monday.
